SCRIP: WHAT IS IT?

Scrip is basically gift cards that you purchase from the parish and use at your favorite retailers. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses like groceries, gas, clothing, gifts and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for St. Bernard Parish.

The Scrip Program is a fundraiser for our parish that doesn’t require any extra money and only a little bit of planning. The parish receives a small percentage of each scrip card that is sold, approximately 2% to 14%. When individuals use these cards at their favorite retailers, they are fundraising while they shop, this shopping supports all parish ministries.

The cards listed in the image are just a few of the Scrip cards available at St. Bernard. There are many available other cards available. No matter what card you purchase, you earn revenue for St. Bernard Parish.
