Advent is about waiting and preparing.
What are we waiting and preparing for?
Actually, the term “Advent” comes from the Latin language meaning “arrival”.

We prepare and wait for the arrival of Jesus in two ways.
We wait and prepare for the birth of Jesus and we also wait and prepare for the moment when Christ comes again in glory, the Second Coming, the Final Judgment

ADVENT – A SEASON OF PRAYER

Through prayer we can connect with God’s love and ask Him to prepare our hearts to receive the gift of His Son. It is in prayer we can remove distractions that keep us away from God.
