Deacon Mike has been serving in his current role at St. Bernard Parish since 2010. Mike works full-time job at a paper and film converter in the area in addition to his responsibilities in the parish, leading RCIA, coordinating Catholic liturgy at the prison in Oshkosh, Co-leading That Man is You, and weekly hospital visitations to the sick.
Mike and his wife, Lisa were married at St. Bernard's in 2000 and have been active in the community ever since. In their spare time Mike and Lisa enjoy taking care of their home (they especially love spending time in their sun room that overlooks a small pond) and hanging out with their two cats, Gus and Martini. Recently, Mike has taken up kayaking and loves spending time on the water. He is also, in his third year of grad school at St. Norbert's College in pursuit of a Master of Theological Study degree.
"My hope for St. Bernard's is that it becomes known as a place that changes hearts towards God."
